Penis Vibrator
Hot Octopuss has been focusing a lot on designing toys for penises in a market that has been fairly stuck on strokers. The Jett is the most recent in their line of penis vibes that "is the first of its kind with Treble and Bass Technology™". Their marketing touts hands-free orgasms so it sounded like a fun adventure.
The review:
Hot Octopuss were lovely to send us the Jett to test out and once I opened it, I have to confess, it sat in our "to try" pile for a significant amount of time before we checked it out. Despite the fancy new technology, a couple of bullet vibes inserted into the bottom of a silicone ring just didn't get either of us thinking, "Oooh! I want to check this out now!". Paired with having to go out to buy AA batteries (it takes 4!) to get the thing running meant for a delay in testing (note to manufacturers, if batteries are required, it's become the custom to include them).
My beloved, Flick, has had some unpleasant moments with cock rings in the past so he was very hesitant to stretch it around the head of his peen so I decided to check it out on my own coupled with an insertable 'strapless' strap-on. Once I stretched the silky smooth silicone ring over the head of the dildo, the vibrations travelled well down the shaft and being able to play with the different 'tones' of vibration between the treble buzz and bass rumble was fun, but bullet vibes are pretty much never going to be able to give me the jackhammer stim I require. I also checked it out with the ring around a few fingers and that gave a more intense vibration that would be good for someone who likes to masturbate with fingers on clit.
The Jett is meant to sit just below the head of the penis and press against the frenulum, a sensitive and pleasurable spot in many people with penises. Once Flick was up for testing it out when we played together, we made the mistake of lubing him up thoroughly so as to avoid any of the feared pinchy pain which meant the Jett wouldn't stay in place just below the head of his cock. It tended to spin and slide around once the motors were going, but even held in place, he didn't get much pleasure from the sensation. Admittedly, focused frenulum stim isn't his favourite sensation, so it likely wasn't the right toy for his body. He did really like the sensations when I wrapped it around my fingers and stimulated his nipples, though, so we were able to get some enjoyment out of it.
Overall we think the Jett would be an excellent vibrator for those who enjoy focused frenulum stim but it wasn't the right one for us. And while it's nice that the price point for Jett isn't as high as some of their toys, the lack of rechargeable battery and water resistance are definite drawbacks.
