Compact wand with a lot of power
Sometimes a toy surprises you in the best ways. The Lush Gia by Blush Novelties is one of those toys! A small, cordless, rechargeable wand has convinced this 'big wands only' person to reconsider their stance.
The Gia is more than a wand. It's a dual-ended vibrator with a wand on one end and an insertable g-spot vibe on the other. The two motors are independently controlled with two buttons that cycle through 3 levels of steady and 4 levels patterned vibrations. The vibrations are buzzy AF (see Rumble vs. Buzz if you're not familiar with the distinction) so when I first turned it on I suspected it was yet another novelty item I'd fallen for that would disappoint. I was so very wrong. The power behind that buzz is impressive enough that the first time I tried it I orgasmed faster than I often do with my favourite Doxy Die Cast.
Because there's no heavy motor to power the rumble of larger wand toys, the Gia is light and easy to hold, a benefit to those who have trouble with the weight of behemoths like the Die Cast or Magic Wand. That it is fully encased in silicone is another bonus because it is super easy to clean without worrying about getting any water into the electronics. I enjoy the magnetic style of charger but because it is a different style than my other magnetic chargers it means for yet another different charger for the collection that I really need to get on labelling properly.
If you're wondering why I haven't mentioned the g-spot vibrator yet it's because that is where the Gia didn't fulfil my expectations. Admittedly I'm less into insertion these days but I found that there wasn't enough power in the smaller motor in the head of the insertable section to do much for me. I love g-spot stimulation but a vibrator really needs to be doing something special for it to get me off. Because the motor is right in the head, it is super firm, which my body isn't always a fan of, although it's modest size means it isn't an ordeal to insert. And because of the flexible neck, the motor couldn't be as large as the one in the wand end so it is not nearly as powerful.
The sensations were pleasant and it was still easy to hold and thrust with but my eyes were not rolling back in my head with pleasure using the g-spot vibe end of the Gia. And because the controls for both vibes are in the middle of the shaft, you can't access the controls when it is fully inserted since they're inside your body at that point.
Despite the mediocrity of the g-spot vibrator, the Lush Gia wand is awesome enough that it has worked its way up to being one of my new favourites. If one were able to travel right now, the Gia would definitely replace my cordless Magic Wand in my suitcase since it is so light yet powerful. If you're looking for a versatile, powerful, lightweight (in the good way) vibrator, the Lush Gia from Blush could be a great option.
